“You don’t have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.” -Martin Luther King Jr.
Are you feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or constantly on edge? Stress and anxiety can make it difficult to experience peace, focus, and a sense of control.
You may be experiencing:
- Overwhelming worry and fear
- Physical symptoms related to anxiety
- Avoidance behaviors that begin to take over daily life
- Feeling constantly “on edge” or burned out
These experiences can show up in many ways, including:
- Fear of taking steps outside your comfort zone
- Discomfort in social situations
- Constant worry about what others think
- Racing thoughts or overthinking
- Difficulty focusing or completing tasks
- Difficulty falling or staying asleep
- Feelings of isolation
- Panic attacks or intense fear
- Persistent negative thoughts
- Physical symptoms (rapid heart rate, nausea, chest tightness)
Counseling can help you better understand your anxiety and develop tools to manage it. Together, we’ll explore what’s contributing to your stress and work toward helping you feel more grounded, in control, and at ease.
Together, we will work on reducing your anxiety. I provide practical exercises and techniques you can use in daily life—what I call your “anxiety management toolbox.”
Over time, these tools become part of how you navigate challenges outside of sessions. We can also discuss the role of medication and how to approach that conversation with your doctor if it feels appropriate.
I strongly believe it is possible for you to live a life where you are in control of your anxiety—rather than it controlling you.
